Mild past 6 day of  December 2006

 

After a chilly start to the month where we averaged 9 degrees below normal a big change has taken place.

 

The period from Dec. 9 - 14, the average high has been 44.3 compared to the normal of  27.5. The average low for this 6 day period has been 28.7 compared to the average of 12. 

 

Overall the period from Dec. 9-14 the average has been 36.4  this ranks as the 3rd warmest since 1891. This is 18 degrees above average.

 

The only day we didn't hit 40 was on the 12th when the high was 39.

 

This is the warmest  Dec. 9-14 period since 1928 when we averaged 36.5.
 

The warmest goes to 1891 when we averaged 39.0.
