I just read an article about the city of Miami Florida rated the riskiest city to weather hazards.(http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/view.php?StoryID=20060803-023835-1557r)

First of all is this new news. 

Just watch the opening of CSI:Miami with all the skyscrapers along the shore front.  If you think New Orleans was bad just wait until Miami is hit, and it will be.  I can't tell you when but when it does those buildings along the shore will be washed out in the Ocean.  It will be you and me to stuck with the bill to REBUILD this lunacy.

Why we permit this type of construction is beyond me.  It's most likely to late now, considering the amount invested in these building.  Barrier islands that once protect the inlands now are littered with homes and businesses.

When it comes to controlling weather, we can't. 

One of the safest cities to live in...St.Paul/Minneapolis.
