After a cool start to the week on Monday morning, lows in the low 30's, high temperatures by Tuesday hit 82. A passing evening shower occured on Wednesday, May 24 but only dropped .03 of an inch. Thursday was the most interesting day of the week with a late evening thunderstorm. Storms hit about 8PM with CB's building in the evening hours. Thunder was heard before the rain hit. Lightning strikes were numberous. The heavest rain total in the TwinPlex was recorded in Minneapolis at the St. Anthony Falls, .46 inches. The airport totaled .31. On the Southwestern side of town, Eden Prairie totaled .13 as did White Bear Lake on the Northwest side.
